The Turkish parliamentary election was held on 1 November 2015. Results revealed that the ruling AKP won a majority (316 out of 550 seats) in Turkey’s Grand National Assembly, giving them a mandate to govern the country for the next four years. Commentators have suggested that there were issues with the economy, security and a lack of media freedom in the run-up to the elections.

The Financial Assistance to Ukraine Bill is a two-clause government bill that would authorise the government to provide loans and other financial assistance to Ukraine resulting from the extraordinary revenue acceleration (ERA) loans agreement made at the meeting of the G7 and the EU in June 2024.
