On 25 October 2015, Poland held parliamentary elections for both house of the country’s Parliament. The right-wing and eurosceptic Law and Justice party won the poll with an overall majority in both houses, with potentially wide ranging consequences for the future of the country.

The Financial Assistance to Ukraine Bill is a two-clause government bill that would authorise the government to provide loans and other financial assistance to Ukraine resulting from the extraordinary revenue acceleration (ERA) loans agreement made at the meeting of the G7 and the EU in June 2024.
