Please note the data above should be read in accordance with the following caveats:
- ‘Eligibility status: Current member’ includes some members who have not yet been introduced and are therefore not yet eligible to participate in proceedings.
- ‘Eligibility status: Disqualified’ refers to those members currently disqualified because they hold senior judicial office.
- ‘House start date’ refers to the start date of the most recent period of service by peerage type. The ‘length of service’ value is not cumulative for members who may have previous periods of service under a different peerage type (eg Viscount Thurso, or bishops given life peerages eg Lord Sentamu), or for bishops who have changed sees.
